Beginning Teacher Support and Assessment

Beginning Teacher Support and Assessment, is a state-funded induction program, co-sponsored by the California Department of Education (CDE) and the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CCTC) designed to support the professional development of newly-credentialed, beginning teachers and fulfill the requirements for the California Clear Multiple and Single Subjects Credentials.

The BTSA office would like to congratulate all new teachers and welcome you to WCUSD!

You are eligible for BTSA if you are:

  1. A full-time teacher
  2. Brand new to the teaching profession (1st or 2nd year).
