Review of Special Education at WCUSD

A review released this week commends West Covina Unified School District for a well-managed special education program. An affirmation of its mission to provide all students with high quality education, the report uses a multifaceted approach to analyze fiscal data, services provided and organizational structures.  In addition to providing an assessment of the District’s special education programs, the special report which was prepared by an independent group, makes specific recommendations on how to further improve the quality and cost effectiveness of educational programs provided to students with special needs.  The full report is available by clicking on this link.
